Valleyfair has long-term commitments to several charitable organizations, which receive the majority of our annual ticket donations. These organizations have been specifically chosen because they have a region-wide impact and affect a large number of people. Examples of organizations we work with include IAAPA (whose World Passport for Kids Program benefits children with life-threatening illnesses), Second Harvest Heartland, Minnesota Military Family Foundation, Minnesota Adoption Resource Network, St. Francis Regional Medical Center, CAP Agency, Fishing for Life and the Valleyfair Employee Scholarship Program.
On a very limited basis, Valleyfair will grant donation requests from local organizations. If you are with a third party that is seeking a donation from Valleyfair, please carefully read the following guidelines for submitting a donation request.
- Donation requests are accepted each year during the month of January only. Requests received after this date will not be accepted.
- Written donation requests must be addressed to Valleyfair to receive consideration. Letters must be mailed to Valleyfair on official company/organization letterhead. Email, website, fax or telephone requests will not be considered.
- Donation request letters must contain a contact name, daytime telephone number and mailing address.
- A typical donation is a pack of two to four single-day admission tickets that are valid on any day of the upcoming season. Valleyfair does not give Season Passes or monetary donations.
- A Valleyfair Representative will contact you if your donation request is granted. Due to the large volume of requests received each year, Valleyfair will only contact those organizations that are chosen to receive a donation.
