The BEST time to visit might just be a rainy Minnesota day! Why let a few raindrops get in your way of having a cool summer adventure? When the weather forecast calls for rain, it scares away those looking for a "picture perfect" day, opening the doors for those who can have fun in spite of a few raindrops.
Contrary to popular belief, holidays such as Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend and Labor Day weekend do not result in unusually large crowds, so this is also a good time to enjoy the park. Valleyfair recommends visiting on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday because attendance is typically lower on these days. Our busiest months are July and August, while our busiest days are Saturdays.
Is Valleyfair admission required to use the Challenge Park activities?

Check out one of our energizing live shows or a feature film in the six-story Pepsi IMAX® Theater. Cool down and relax in Soak City Waterpark, included with park admission. There are also a number of non-active rides that guests can enjoy, including Ferris Wheel, Antique Autos and Minnesota River Valley Railroad.

If you the driver does not plan to stay at the park, the $10.00 parking fee is refundable provided you turn in your parking receipt at the toll booth within 30 minutes from the time you entered the lot.
