Season Pass

In 1976, Valleyfair premiered as a turn-of-the-century amusement park in Shakopee, Minnesota with 20 rides and attractions on 26 acres.  Today, the park boasts more than 75 rides and attractions on 90 acres and is the largest amusement park in the upper Midwest. Admission

Our admission allows you to enjoy our rides, shows and Soak City Waterpark all day long (Waterpark Hours). Food, merchandise, parking, games, some attractions and Challenge Park are extra charges. All posted prices, except food and merchandise, include Minnesota sales tax.

Credit Cards

We welcome VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, and AMERICAN EXPRESS at Ticket Booths, most merchandise shops, Challenge Park and at most food locations.

Height Measuring

If someone in your party is close to 48" tall in shoes of average height (i.e., no high heels), stop at Guest Services before purchasing your tickets or entering the park to be officially measured. Guest Services can wristband anyone who is at or slightly over 48" tall in shoes of average height (i.e., no high heels). Wristband does not guarantee ability to ride. Guests with wristband will still be measured at the ride locations to ensure consistency.

Accessibility

Valleyfair strives to minimize barriers in all areas of the park for our guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located throughout the park. Unisex restrooms are also available. Ramps have been added to make walkways, rides, shops, food buildings, shows and attractions easier to enter. Guest Services has information on the accessibility of specific rides and attractions.

Special Access Entrances

Attention: We have modified our policies, practices and procedures to provide accommodations for guests with mobility restrictions.

Special Access Entrances facilitate the boarding process for guests with mobility restrictions. In an effort to be fair to all guests, any person with a mobility restriction and one riding companion may enter a ride through the Special Access Entrance once their party has waited in the regular line and is ready to board. If only the guest with a mobility restriction and one other person are riding, they can receive a boarding time from the ride operator at the Special Access Entrance; after the boarding time has expired, they may return to the Special Access Entrance to board the ride.

Any guest who requires the use of Special Access Entrances must visit the Guest Services Office to receive a Special Access slip. Please note that this slip does not guarantee a guest’s ability to ride. Please refer to your individual ride admission policy list for rides that will safely accommodate you.

For Your Convenience

Strollers/Wheelchairs/Electronic Wheelchairs

You are welcome to bring your own stroller, wagon, or wheelchair into the park. Motorized transportation devices not approved by the AMA are not permitted. A limited number of rentals are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the rental counter located just past the turnstiles in the Entrance Plaza. If you have a very small child, you may want to bring your own stroller. Click here for more information.

Rental Bins/Lockers

Rental storage bins are located inside the park at the Entrance Plaza. Sorry, we cannot accept valuables such as money, jewelry or cameras (coin operated lockers are available outside the park in the Entrance Plaza, at the Wave exit, at the Xtreme Swing entrance, at the Renegade entrance, near RipTide and at the Thunder Canyon entrance). Lockers are also available in Whitewater Country Waterpark for guests. All lockers and bins are cleared each night. Whitewater Country lockers can only be used during waterpark hours and must be cleared when you leave the waterpark.

For Your Safety

Smoking Policy

For the convenience of those who wish to smoke, there are designated smoking areas located throughout the park.

Rides

Rides may be closed due to weather conditions (high winds, rain or lightning), required maintenance or other causes. We will re-open closed rides as soon as possible. Water rides may be closed if the temperature falls below 65° F. All rides and attractions are subject to periodic closures for routine maintenance inspections. We thank you for your patience. No rainchecks or refunds are available.
