Valleyfair Media Relations Policies

The following guidelines are to be observed at all times. These guidelines have been established for the safety and comfort of our guests and employees. Thank you for your cooperation!

• Advisories - All major media and special event advisories are posted one week prior to event. Please refer to the Valleyfair News Page for the latest information.
• B-Roll - Valleyfair's Public Relations Department stocks a complete selection of current events, general park footage and ride point-of-view videos for media use on a 30-day loan. Most are available in Beta S/P or 3/4" tape. Please call 952-496-5330 or email pr@valleyfair.com with your name, title, company name and address.
• Filming in the Park - Valleyfair offers a variety of opportunities for filming within the Park. All requests must be reviewed and approved before filming. Requests must be submitted with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice. (Exceptions to this 24-hour notice can be made for breaking news and advisories.) See our Filming Guidelines section.
• In-Park Professional Photography - See our Filming Guidelines section.
• Interviews - Valleyfair Public Relations can assist you with setting up the perfect interview regarding Valleyfair, the amusement park industry, tourism industry or whatever you might be searching for. Please contact pr@valleyfair.com to set up an interview.
• Live Remotes - Valleyfair's Public Relations Department is able to provide assistance with both television and radio live remotes. Guest speakers can be arranged as needed for each remote. An ISDN line is available. All remotes must be arranged no less than 1 week (5 business days) prior to the remote.
• Photo Library - Valleyfair's Public Relations Department maintains a complete library of stock photography on all rides, shows and attractions. If you have a specific request, please contact pr@valleyfair.com.
• Press Kits - Current press kits may be requested by media through e-mail at pr@valleyfair.com or by fax at 952-496-5388.
• Press Releases - All press releases are posted as they are issued. Please refer to the Valleyfair News Page for the latest information.
