A new slaughterhouse-themed maze will "beef up" the scare levels this autumn at the third annual Halloween Haunt at ValleySCARE.

Within the depths of the slaughterhouse, innocent mortals must escape murderous butchers and maniacal plant workers who crave the blistered flesh of their human victims. "Slice and dice" will take on a whole new meaning inside this brutal meatpacking plant.

The slaughterhouse maze will be ValleySCARE’s seventh haunted area. Other areas include a zombie graveyard, insane asylum, clown maze, vampire lair, pirate cove and haunted farm.

ValleySCARE’s hauntmasters have invited the public to submit names for the new maze. A new "Name the Haunt" contest will be available at valleyscare.com from March 17 – April 13, 2008. The participant whose maze name is chosen will win admission tickets to the opening night of the Halloween Haunt and the first spot in line for the new attraction. The Halloween Haunt at ValleySCARE includes haunted attractions, live entertainment, select thrill rides and daytime family fun.
