Dress CodeIn keeping with the family image of Valleyfair, guests are required to wear shoes, tops and pants/shorts at all times while inside the park. Swimwear tops are acceptable if they are of modest style. Clothing that disguises or alters a person's identity and clothing or exposed tattoos with profanity, illegal substances and other suggestive or offensive material are prohibited. BabiesBottles can be warmed at the park's First Aid Station. The First Aid Station also provides privacy for nursing. Medications that need refrigeration can also be stored there. Diaper changing facilities are available in all of the women's and most of the men's restrooms in the park.
Loose Articles on RidesWE RECOMMEND YOU LEAVE ALL PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN A LOCKER, WITH A NON-RIDER OR IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR VEHICLE! Due to the nature of our rides, basketballs, backpacks, purses, electronics, stuffed animals and other loose items are not permitted. The only belongings that you may take on a ride must be secured in a cargo pocket that zips, buttons or has velcro closure. Waist packs must have a zippered closure and be of a size and style that can be lifted over a tightened seatbelt or lap bar. In most cases, you can leave non-securable items on the ride platform. If you leave an item on a ride platform, Valleyfair is not responsible for items and you accept risk of leaving the item.
Parent SwapTo avoid waiting in line twice, Valleyfair’s "Parent Swap" program allows groups with children who do not meet ride minimum height requirements to "swap" adults. Enter the ride with your group as you normally would (please leave all strollers and loose articles outside the ride). Once you get to the front of the line, let the ride attendant know that you would like to do a “parent swap.” The ride attendant will then assist you and your family with the process. Some group members may be allowed to ride twice, depending on the ride vehicle and size of the group. If you have further questions about our Parent Swap Program, please feel free to ask any host. Please note: Not all rides can accommodate a parent swap.
Plan for Extended Ride TimeUpon arrival, decide which rides you want to enjoy. While everyone else is waiting for rides at the front of the park, lines are shorter if you're willing to walk a bit farther to the back of the park.
WaterKeeping cool is easy, we offer complimentary cups of water at all food locations with soda fountains. Plus, water fountains are located near most restrooms. Bottled water may also be purchased at a variety of locations in the park.
