Antique Autos: Buckle up and drive yourself through all your favorite Minnesota landmarks! Kids get their first driving experience in our classic touring cars and journey around a quarter-mile scenic track. On these classic wheels, you’re doing all the actual steering, but there’s a small rail on the road to keep you from losing your way. This ride is perfect for those who find themselves needing to find the time to slow it all down and take the time to leisurely stroll through the park.
Bumper Cars: Buckle up and watch out for crazy drivers, it’s going to be a bumpy ride! Show off your driving skills and avoid being bumped while chasing after your friends. Just when you think you've got a clear path, BAM! There's someone you didn't dodge. No trip to an amusement park would be complete without a ride on a classic bumper car! So get behind the wheel to learn the ropes and rails of bumper cars and begin your crash course in bumping and dodging.
Ferris Wheel: Step into a suspended gondola with up to three of your friends and family members to indulge in a soothing ride and breathtaking view of Valleyfair, which is especially spectacular at night. The entire family, including adventuresome grandparents, will enjoy taking a ride on this staple attraction of American amusement parks. Friends and families can take advantage of riding together in one of the 18 gondolas, each filled with travelers awed by the sights and sounds that only this vantage point can provide. Minnesota River Valley Railroad: All aboard! Take a ride through Valleyfair on this nostalgic train ride. This winding track takes riders through tunnels, over ponds, and under rollercoasters. This train is a great way to get from one side of the park to the other – or circle right back to your original depot! Sit back and relax on these shaded train benches and wave to other guests as you stroll around the park in style. There are two depots in the park you can board or exit from. Find either train station at Planet Snoopy™ or between Route 76 and Depot Refreshments in order to find yourself on the other side of the park without the long walk. Perfect for kids and parents alike!
Thunder Canyon: Whitewater rapids can be one of the most unpredictable forces of nature on our planet. And when you ride down Thunder Canyon, you’ll find yourself at the mercy of one seriously erratic river. If your family is looking to turn it up a notch, this ride is for you. Riders will sit in a large family-size raft and float down the canyon while encountering rocks, rapids, waterfalls and a ton of monster splashes - there’s no avoiding getting drenched! The real fun is guessing which side of the raft will be soaked around the next bend in the river. If you manage to escape the rapids and waterfalls dry, guests are lined up along the course ready to fire water soakers in case the river doesn’t do its job.
