What’s New in Soak City Waterpark?

Valleyfair

Valleyfair is the Upper Midwest's largest amusement park, offering endless fun and thrills with world-class rides, attractions and live entertainment.

Soak City Waterpark is open! We want to give you the inside scoop of what is new in the waterpark this season. From a new stage to new drinks to new food locations, Soak City will cause an even bigger splash in 2019!

New Stage

Soak City Waterpark is getting a brand new stage that will host a variety of acts this summer! This new stage will be located between Breaker's Bay Wave Pool and Breaker's Bay Bar. Enjoy live music and entertainment from Minnie and The St. Pauls, playing a variety of beach-inspired tunes, and the Party Police Waterpark Squad. It’ll have you feeling like you’re really at the beach!

New Drinks

Soak City Waterpark will also be introducing new drinks you simply can’t resist! One of the signature cocktails for the 2019 season is the Wild Thing Sling. This mixture begins with a base of Valleyfair's single barrel rum and is topped with pineapple and lime juice. The bright green color will have you dreaming of Wild Thing and this drink just may be the liquid courage you need to ride that coaster for the first time!

Next, sit back and relax with our new Valleyfair Rum Punch with Tattersall Barrel Select Rum. This refreshing beverage can be found at Breakers Bay Bar and Depot Refreshments! This fruity drink is the perfect mixture of Valleyfair's single barrel rum, orange crema, strawberry, and apple. It’s sweet, light, and the perfect wave pool refreshment!

There is nothing like sitting poolside on a sunny day with a beer. We are also collaborating with Badger Hill Brewing Company and introducing “Aw, Shucks!” Cream Ale to Valleyfair! This perfect warm weather beer can be found at Depot Refreshments, Atomic Bar, or Chickie's & Pete’s! It’s easy drinking with a crisp finish!

Last, but certainly not least, is Underwood Canned Wine. Served at Depot Refreshments, Atomic Bar, Chickie’s & Pete’s, El Taco Mercado, and Breakers Bay Bar, enjoy your wine served in an aluminum can as opposed to glass! These Oregon-based wine selections include Pinot Gris, Rosé, and “The Bubbles”—a wine with ripe citrus, tropical fruit, and white flower flavors.

New Food Location

A new dining location was installed in Soak City Waterpark for the 2019 season as well!  On A Stick will serve food on, you guessed it, a stick! Enjoy a variety of grilled items including scrumptious shrimp, chicken, bacon, BBQ meatballs, and fresh veggies. On A Stick will be the one-stop shop to go for that perfect poolside snack!
