Things To Know Before You Go

Shirts, shorts/pants and shoes must be worn at all times while at Valleyfair.  Clothing that disguises or alters a person's identity and clothing or exposed tattoos with profanity, illegal substances and other suggestive or offensive material are prohibited.

Proper swimming attire for Soak City Waterpark must be worn as well.  Proper swimming attire is defined as one-or-two piece swim suits without abrasive buttons, rivets, zippers or snaps.  Guests wearing street clothing (i.e. shorts, t-shirts, jeans, etc.) will not be allowed in any pools or on any rides in Soak City Waterpark.

Guests in Halloween make-up or costumes are not permitted during the Halloween Haunt. Kids may wear a costume during the day at Planet Spooky.
A guest's height is an important safety factor on many rides and attractions.

Your child may be "officially" measured at one of the Height Check Stations, Guest Services, Family Care Center, or at any ride of the appropriate height level. The measured guest will be a given a wristband to indicate their height range. Wristbands are not required to ride.

For the safety of your child, a standard play shoe which does not contribute excessively to the child's height is required. For example: a child is not permitted to wear platform shoes to help meet a height requirement. Valleyfair reserves the right to ask that shoes be removed to ensure that a child's height is not being artificially enhanced or manipulated.

Some attractions may close in bad weather until conditions permit safe operation.   Please enjoy a show, meal or shopping until such weather passes.

Valleyfair does not offer rainchecks or refunds in the event of inclement weather.

Valleyfair offers a free program to quickly reunite separated children with their parents.  Guests with cell phones can register for this safety system at Guest Service or in the Family Care Center, located in Planet Snoopy.
Should you lose an article during your visit, please check Lost and Found located outside the Admission Gate.
Valleyfair offers a service that allows one parent of small children to wait in line, but both parents ride! For more information or to obtain a Parent Swap Pass, please visit Guest Services located at the Front Gate upon arrival at the park.
If you wish to leave the park and return on the same day, please be sure to have your hand stamped when you exit.  You will need to present a hand stamp AND ticket stub upon returning.  If you wish to leave the parking lot and re-enter, present your parking receipt to the attendant when you return.

There is no re-entry after 7pm during Halloween Haunt at ValleySCARE.
Valleyfair’s Ride Admission Policy has been developed based on the recommendations of the manufacturer, our past experience and our evaluation of each ride using our knowledge of the ride in both normal and emergency operating conditions.  Our prime consideration is the ability of each person to endure the dynamics of a ride without risk of injury to that person or other riders.   Any guest who feels he or she may be affected by this policy is encouraged to visit Guest Services to obtain a list of the rides he or she can safely ride.  Your Ride Admission Policy list will provide information for our ride operators to help accommodate you.
