The Twin Cities’ largest Halloween attraction, ValleySCARE, is adding a new maze, Dark Harvest, and a new pumpkin walkway, Pumpkin Promenade, to this year’s events.

Dark Harvest is a farm themed maze that is cursed with dark magic. Made up of burlap sacks, old clothes, and a trusty pitchfork, scarecrows are the keepers of the corn on the Kihler Family Farm. Pumpkin Promenade will be a prominent new walkway featuring pumpkin displays of all shapes and sizes, unique lighting, and fantastic Halloween decorations to highlight the spirit of a fall wonderland.

One of ValleySCARE’s most popular mazes, Berserkers, is getting an upgrade and name change. Berserkers Unleashed will take guests through the twist and turns of an ancient Viking ruin, but be forewarned; the Berserker spirit still lurks in the dark spaces of these great halls.

During the day, kids and families join Snoopy and the Peanuts gang for some not-so-scary family fun at The Great Pumpkin Fest on Saturdays and Sundays, September 16 through October 29.

As darkness falls, the Halloween Haunt comes to life with more than 300 creatures and monsters occupying more than a dozen of the most intense haunted mazes and walkway scare zones on Fridays and Saturdays, September 16 through October 28, and Thursday, October 19. Halloween Haunt activities are “Rated PG-13” and not intended for kids under 13 years of age.

For an additional charge, guests can sign a waiver and receive a safe word before unlocking exclusive access to six secret Skeleton Key rooms located throughout the park. Once inside, they will experience tight spaces, extreme situations and memorable encounters designed to test the boundaries of their worst fears. Guests 21 and older can escape the terror by stopping into Blood Suckers Brew Bar, a vampire-themed bar, featuring selections of beer, wine, and cocktails.
