Light Up Your 4th of July at Valleyfair

Valleyfair

Valleyfair is the Upper Midwest's largest amusement park, offering endless fun and thrills with world-class rides, attractions and live entertainment.

It’s almost the 4th of July, and Valleyfair is bringing on the festivities! It’s time to celebrate our nation’s freedom, and there’s no better way to do that than with a barbeque! Grab your red, white and blue, and come join us for a barbeque, fireworks and more from July 4-7. This celebration will have you feeling extra patriotic, and proud to be an American! Keep reading to find out how to make the most of your 4th of July celebration here at Valleyfair.

4th of July BBQ
One of the highlights of summer at Valleyfair is our July 4th BBQ, an event packed with patriotic family fun.  July 4-7, you and your family can chow down on a barbeque meal with all of the best summer staples. Smoked turkey breast, hamburgers, and hot dogs will be the stars of this meal, accompanied by potato salad, BBQ baked beans, and other classic cook-out foods! Along with this 4th of July feast, you can enjoy a star-studded photo booth, a patriotic craft station, and other games and activities to help you show off your American pride.

Fireworks on July 4th
Nothing says 4th of July like a booming display of fireworks! Valleyfair has one of the most impressive displays in the area. Our colorful firework show will close out your Fourth of July night with a bang. You won’t want to miss this beautiful ending to Independence Day. Fireworks start at 9:45 PM on July 4.

Military Days
At Valleyfair, we want to show our gratitude for those who put our country before themselves. July 4-7, we are celebrating America’s best by waiving the regular admission fee for active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with an honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. We also want to invite up to six immediate family members to accompany military personnel by purchasing tickets for the discount price of $37. On this national holiday, we want to honor our troops by giving them a day filled with fun and family time. Thank you for your service!

Stay Late in Soak City
We want our guests to be able to soak up every last bit of sun on this summer holiday, so we are extending waterpark hours for an extra hour! Hang out in Soak City until 8 PM to catch those last rays of sunshine and then stick around to see the firework display!

Make this 4th of July your best one yet with a trip to Valleyfair. We have patriotic excitement for the entire family, and plenty of food to go with it. The only thing that’s missing from this red, white and blue celebration is you!
