Throughout this summer, Valleyfair has hosted local restaurants at Depot Refreshments as part of our all-new residency program. Now that it’s almost August, we are at the last stop on our residency tour and to finish off the summer, Pajarito will be taking over! This means you can get excited for unbeatable Mexican dishes with a flavorful twist.
Pajarito is a St. Paul neighborhood restaurant that opened in 2017. It’s owned by two local chefs, Stephan Hesse and Tyge Nelson who had both been cooking for years before going into business together. Pajarito is pushing the envelope on traditional Mexican food by using modern touches and fresh flavors to spice up their dishes. Pajarito’s familiar menu might seem like something you’ve seen before, but these two chefs have elevated their Mexican dishes to another level. Nelson and Hesse have cooked up a menu specifically for Valleyfair and are excited to share their cooking with you this August!
Some of the dishes that Pajarito is bringing to the park include chicken milanesa torta, carne asada torta, chicken tinga tostadas and watermelon with chimichurri. We can’t wait for you to experience all of these delicious flavors of Mexican cuisine cooked with Pajarito’s signature modern flare.
Depot will also feature a variety of beer and cocktail selections for guests 21 years of age and older. Guests can enjoy Tattersall's Valleyfair Rum Punch, Summit Slugfest, and other domestic selections.
Menu items will be available on the All Season Dining Plan, All Day Dining Plan, and Single-Meal Deal.
