Can you believe the season is already over? Here at Valleyfair, we are already missing the rush of roller coasters, the splashes from speed slides, and the screams from giggling children in Planet Snoopy.

It has been a whirlwind of a year and there were so many awesome moments from this season, we wanted to take a second to review some of our favorite moments from 2019.

Peanuts Celebration

In June, Valleyfair debuted Peanuts Celebration, an all-new event uniquely dedicated to celebrating the beloved Peanuts characters, that invited guests to step inside the pages of a Charles M. Schulz comic strip as the characters take over the theme park for the very first time. This limited-time celebration encouraged fans of all ages to join in on the fun by introducing new ways for guests to play and interact with the Peanuts Gang throughout the park. The event featured special Peanuts inspired décor, new social media worthy comic strip photo ops, new character experiences, live shows, exclusive merchandise and deliciously themed treats to complete this whimsical celebration.

Breaker's Pipeline Launch System

3… 2… 1… DROP! At the top of our 65-foot-tall deck is Breaker's pipeline which allows guests to experience a near-vertical drop into a high-speed plummet through a series of loops and s-curves. While this slide has always been super fun, it just got four times better! Our aquatics team installed a new launchpad during the summer of 2019 which allows for all four slides to drop riders at the exact same time.

Superior Stage

Before opening the park in May, our Entertainment and Maintenance teams were hard at work adding a brand new stage to the front of the park. Superior Stage took Valleyfair's entertainment offerings and event execution to the next level. Whether you were rocking out at Woodstock's Music Festival or singing along to the tunes from the vocal coasters, this new stage made it near impossible to miss the amazing talent performing at Valleyfair.

Depot Residency Program

Through the summer at Valleyfair, you may have noticed some of your favorite metro restaurants were serving up their delicious grub right here in the park. Our residency program featured menus from Handsome Hog, Groveland Tap, Pajarito, Lolo, and Surly Brewing. Working with these local chefs and restaurants allowed Valleyfair to offer our guests a variety of different menu options every month!
