During our extended off-season, our Food & Beverage team used their time in quarantine to cook up some awesome new recipes that you get to try in the park when we open on May 22! Valleyfair is offering some of the best meal and snack options in the Twin Cities. Warning: If you are already hungry, this blog post is not going to help, but we encourage you to power through.

Gyros – Regular, Bowl, and Nacho at El Taco Mercado

We are excited to introduce this favorite Greek dish into the park. Enjoy savory meat served on a piece of warm pita bread, covered in onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and tzatziki sauce. Want to try it served a new way? We will be offering both bowl and nacho options, a bead of rice for the bowl, or served on salty tortilla chips for the nacho version. El Taco Mercado will be offering both beef-lamb and chicken gyros.

SPAM on a Stick at Pronto Pup

A Minnesota staple is coming to Valleyfair this season. You either love it or love it. Yes, we are talking about deep-fried SPAM served on a stick. We offered this recipe to you all last year to try at home, but whether you've already tried it or not, you are going to want to be sure to add this fun concoction to your must-do list at Valleyfair.

Juicy Lucy’s at Northwoods Grill

Northwoods Grill is going to be serving up a variety of Juicy Lucy’s this season. For any non-Minnesotans, a Juicy Lucy is a cheeseburger with the cheese inside the meat instead of on top, resulting in a melted core of cheese. A quick history lesson behind this fancy burger: two bars in Minneapolis claim to have invented the Juicy Lucy, Matt's Bar, and the 5-8 Club. No matter who invented this tasty dish, we are excited to bring it to the park for the 2021 season. Be sure to try a Classic Juicy Lucy, Turkey Juicy Lucy, or Vegan Juicy Lucy at Northwoods Grill – and don’t forget to order a side of new Deep-Fried Cookie Dough Bites.

Fish n’ Chips at Stadium Grille

Say farewell to Chickie and Pete’s and hello to the return of Stadium Grille. The return of our favorite sports bar brings back all your favorite classics including Chicken Tenders, Burgers, Pizza, Cheese Curds, and French Fries. New for 2021: Fish n’ Chips. Enjoy fried fish cooked to golden perfection on a bed of fries with tangy tartar sauce.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake on a Stick at On a Stick

Everything your sweet tooth desires can be found on a stick at, you guessed it, On a Stick in Soak City Waterpark. The brand-new Pineapple Upside-Down Cake on a Stick combines pineapple, donut holes, maraschino cherries stuck together and grilled to perfection. It’s the perfect savory treat to a beautiful day in the waterpark.

Tennessee Hot Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders at Chicken Shack

If there is one place in the park that knows how to do chicken fingers, it is Chicken Shack. This season we are turning up the heat and bringing you a new version of one of our most popular dishes. Tennessee Hot Tenders and Wings are the perfect combinations of savory and spicy.

Come to Valleyfair hungry and leave happy this season! If you are a Season Passholder, we can not recommend the All-Season Dining Plan enough. For one low price, Season Passholders can enjoy lunch and dinner during every visit. Just visiting for the day? We still have deals for you! With the All-Day Dining Plan, you'll never go hungry while saving a bundle. Enjoy an entrée and a side every 90 minutes throughout your visit and one snack for the day at participating restaurants inside the park.

*Not all menu items are included in Dining Plans. Check each dining location for Dining Plan options.
