Valleyfair Cares: Teaming Up with the Thielen Foundation

Giving back to the community is close to our hearts at Valleyfair, and we’re proud to play an active role in supporting the local community. Valleyfair Cares is an initiative dedicated to aiding our partners in achieving their missions in any way we can.
Since 2019, Valleyfair has been extremely proud to maintain a partnership with the Thielen Foundation. The Thielen Foundation was founded by now former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, Adam Thielen and his wife, Caitlin Thielen. Launching in the fall of 2018, Adam and Caitlin have made it their mission to “help serve, educate and inspire those in need” with their foundation.
Through events, sponsors, and donations the Thielen Foundation has had the ability to create programs that aid the Minnesota youth community in being equipped and empowered in order to reach their full potential in life.
Programs include youth football camps in various communities, regular visits from the Thielen’s to share support with University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital patients, commitment to academic achievement, scholarships, and more.
This season, Valleyfair Cares has given the Thielen Foundation a donation of 375 tickets to the park with the inclusion of a catered lunch at Picnic Point. With these tickets, we hope to make a positive impact on the children whose lives have been touched by the Thielen Foundation with a day of fun to remember at Valleyfair.
