Valleyfair’s Halloween-for-all Tricks and Treats event offers so much Minnesota fall fun to do—you might not know where to begin! Below we have a listing of the entertainment, games, and activities you can enjoy while at the park. And don’t forget to download the Valleyfair app, so that you can see the times of performances, locations of our seasonal food and drinks, and ride wait times while at the park.
Enchanté Soirée at the Chateau (New!!)
Sister witches, Collette and Agathe, are opening the doors to their enchanted French chateau for a Halloween celebration. All are welcome to this bewitching immersive attraction. Hours: 1:30pm-4:00pm and 5:45pm-7:00pm. Location: Lost Lands (i.e. behind Mad Mouse)
Patch's Place
New! The Costume Contest: 1:30pm | 2:15pm | 3pm | 3:45pm (Midway Stage)
Come dressed in your best costume! Kids and parents can parade their way to the stage where our hosts will award prizes for the most original, cutest, and scariest costumes.
New! Patch's Halloween Bash: 5pm | 6pm | 7pm (Midway Stage)
Tricks and Treats’ iconic Jack-O-Lantern, Patch, and a host of singers and dancers bring Halloween to life through this all-new high-energy spectacle that rocks everything spooky, icky, cozy, and, of course, sweet.
Wagon-Along Story Stroll: Througout the event
Across from Patch's Place, young guests can hop aboard and stroll through our Tale Trail of a self-operated family wagon experience through pumpkins and haybales. The scene provides a backdrop to capture the perfect fall family portrait!
Sweet Tooth Acres
The Candy Horns: 1pm | 2pm | 3:30pm | 4:30pm | 5:30pm
This roaming brass band brings sweet sounds and wide grins to everyone in Sweet Tooth Acres. Folks of all ages can’t help but tap their toes when they come across this jolly jamboree.
New! Fun Sized Four: 12:30pm | 1:30pm | 3pm | 4pm | 5pm
This quartet sings all sorts of pop hits, but always in their signature a-cappella style, and always in tiny, bite sized portions.

Trick or Treat Trail
Here in Sweet Tooth Acres, we truly do get a buzz from enjoying life in its many delightful aspects. Just look for the 8 doors scattered across the Land to receive sweet treats. For kids 12 and under. Hours: 1pm-7pm.
Everfall
Bonfire Tales: 1pm | 2pm | 3pm | 4:30pm | 5:30pm | 6:30pm (Gazebo Stage)
Gather around the cozy bonfire to hear Ginny Pumpkinseed share her not-so-spooky stories. Pint-sized fellow storytellers can add special effects to help bring Ginny’s tall tales to life.
Harvest Duet: 1:30pm | 2:30pm | 4pm | 5pm | 6pm (Gazebo Stage)
Grab a hot drink and listen to our two musicians perform an array of acoustic songs, from earnest tributes to the Lands to romantic “sweater weather” tunes to music that intangibly fits the season.
Craft Central
Get crafty at Craft Central! Design your own gorgeous gourd at our pumpkin decorating station and create a spooky-kooky mask.

- If you’re building a costume, you better have the right mask for the job! Whether you came with a monstrous costume or not, this is the one-stop-shop to construct a mask that can bring your getup to a whole new level.
- Gorgeous Gourds
- Fall simply wouldn’t be fall without pumpkins, and there is no better place to enjoy pumpkin decorating. This dedicated pumpkin decorating station allows guests to get creative as they create a full gallery of gourd art masterpieces.
Ickyville

The popular, all-zombie band The Snots play putrid pop punk parodies of popular songs: Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ becomes ‘Plate of Goo,’ ‘Uptown Funk’ becomes ‘Uptown Gunk,’ ‘Blurred Lines’ is ‘Blurred Slimes’...a repertoire so long you could just puke.
Beanboozled: 12pm | 12:45pm | 2pm | 3pm | 4pm | 5:15pm | 6:15pm (Superior Stage)
Contestants spin a Wheel of Beans with a friend, sibling, or parent to see who can withstand the worst of the worst flavors without spitting out the candy or leaving the scene completely!

Bust a move with DJ Knuckles at the Skelebration Dance Party! At this party, you’ll rattle your bones to funky Halloween tracks play interactive games and win prizes.

For ghouls (and goblins) who just wanna have fun, bop on over to our nighttime dance party. Our DJ lights the night with the hottest tracks and tunes on this side of the afterlife!
The Slime Works *for an extra cost
Slime is serious business, but MAKING it is an oozy, glittery, multi-colored, strangely satisfying art. Sign up with a Goo Chief to create the slime of your dreams…and maybe someone else’s nightmares.

Something strange is happening in the neighborhood this Halloween and we need your help by volunteering for the Ding Dong Doom Neighborhood Watch Program! Watch for suspicious activity and search for clues for a chance to win prizes during this interactive journey through the four lands of Tricks and Treats!

Spooky Spires
Spectral Sisters: 1:45pm | 2:45pm | 4:15pm | 5:15pm | 6:15pm (Celebration Stage)
The tastefully harmonized wails of this Andrews Sisters-esque act can be heard across Spooky Spires, setting the tone for this morbid locality. These talented ladies perform New Orleans jazz drenched arrangements of favorite “gallows humor” songs sure to make you move those mandibles to the beat.
The Scream Bottler: Througout the event
You’ll hear the Scream Bottler before you see him. If guests have what it takes, they can collaborate with the Bottler, adding new varietals to the collection.
Pierre Le’Scare and Frame Worthy Frights: Throughout the event.
In this color-by-numbers mural activity, character-meets-craft to collaborate on a frame-worthy fright.
