School has started, the leaves are gently starting to turn yellow, and maybe an orange peek or two. Sure, you may be thinking that Valleyfair is for summer, but did you know that September weekends are a great time to visit as well? Here are 5 fantastic reasons to keep the fun going through September!

1. The park has the lowest prices of the year for daily admission on weekends! September weekends tend to have our lowest prices of the season. That means you have more to spend while in the park on food, drinks, fast passes, and more!

2. New fall gardens to fall in love with! The gardens and landscapes transform with autumnal colors to get you in the mood for the best sweater weather that we know and love in Minnesota. Plus, it makes for the perfect backdrop for those holiday card photos—so bring the entire family and your camera and find those beautiful areas of the park for your perfect shot. 

3. Get outdoors before winter’s chill sets in! It won’t be long until frigid temps and a blanket of snow covers everything—get out to the park and make those fall family memories together. From Planet Snoopy to the thrill rides, there’s something for everyone!

4. The park’s light show starts sooner! With the sun setting earlier, it means the fun of riding the rides in the dark with the gorgeous lights that adorn the pathways and illuminate the rides can dazzle visitors sooner in the day! If you haven’t ridden the North Star or Wild Thing at night, you are definitely missing out!

5. Start spooky season early with ValleyScare and Tricks and Treats! ValleyScare is back and it kicks off on September 21 if you are looking for something scary. Or bring the whole family and enjoy something sweet with Tricks and Treats starting September 28. There's something for everyone with Valleyfair's fall events.
