ValleyScare by the Numbers

ValleyScare had an epic rise from the dead thanks to all of our amazing guests who came out to enjoy our staff's fright-filled best. As a result, we had our biggest, most attended fall event in Valleyfair’s history!

We had 915 total associates bring you our best Halloween season yet, including 150 scare actors, 30 black out actors, and 11 makeup artists. Over 25 performers worked both Tricks and Treats and ValleyScare.

The total guests that went through ValleyScare mazes is 311,447—that’s more than the population of Saint Paul (303,820)!

Over 90,000 guests watched ValleyScare shows on Superior Stage.

We used over 300 gallons of fog juice.

Almost 2/3 of the ValleyScare cast were new to being a ValleyScare monster!

336 collectible ValleyScare trading card packs found homes with our guests.

2,581 opted for a No Boo experience at ValleyScare (thanks to our No Boo Necklaces).

8,000 blood bags were guzzled by vampires-in-training.

Event games beat its top five records in 2024! 12,126 prizes were won during our Halloween event season. There were 1,254 Ghost plushies won in our Halloween games (in fact, we ran out!).

Roller coasters are the best because they are an engineering marvel designed for the sole purpose of creating thrills and fun. She is looking forward to the grand opening of AlpenFury at Canada’s Wonderland this season—a record-breaking double-launch coaster that has three never-before-seen inversions creating an absolutely unique experience.
