Valleyfair Photo Valleyfair |
September 18, 2025

As the air turns crisp and the leaves begin to fall, ValleyScare and Tricks and Treats creep closer each day...Before the festivities awaken, here’s everything you need to know about what’s new, what’s changing and how to make the most of your visit this fall!

What to know about ValleyScare

When is ValleyScare?

  • Select nights, September 20 – November 1, 2025
  • See our calendar for specific dates and times

What’s included in ValleyScare?

  • Scare Zones: With a wicked makeover, Valleyfair has transformed into a land full of suspense! Our scare zones are back and ready to rattle your bones. Enjoy four different Scare Zones, including the NEW! Hemlock’s Coven!
  • Haunted Mazes: Journey your way through our most terrifying mazes! With a range of five indoor and outdoor mazes, every turn brings new terrors.
  • Live Shows: When you’re not running for your lives, enjoy an upbeat breather at our spook-tacular Halloween-themed shows. From fire jugglers to haunting songs, you’re sure to be bewitched by our performers.
  • Night Rides: There’s nothing like feeling the crisp autumn air under the moon! Dare to ride in the dark where the roars are louder and the twists hit harder! You can find our full list of rides that are scheduled to be open on our ValleyScare website (subject to change).

No Boo Necklace

  • Valleyfair offers a ‘No Boo’ necklace which gives you scare immunity from the monsters lurking inside ValleyScare. Wearing this necklace significantly reduces the likelihood of being scared by monsters in scare zones. No Boo necklaces are not valid in the mazes and cannot guarantee a scare-free night. You can purchase it ahead of time on our webstore (just click on Buy Now on any ticket link, and hover over the ValleyScare tab) or the day of your visit.

ValleyScare Fright Guide

  • Valleyfair will have lots of in-park signage to help you find what you are looking for and of course, you can always ask a friendly associate. You can also download our Fright Guide, but your best bet is to download our app which will give you directions to the attraction of choice, show times and show you wait times for rides!

Valleyfair Policies & Important Notes

To ensure the safety of all Valleyfair guests and staff, please review the ValleyScare Conduct Policy and Guidelines in preparation for your visit!

Park Re-Entry

Fridays

  • Valleyfair opens at 7:00 PM and WILL NOT be permitting re-entry during ValleyScare. Please plan ahead!

Saturdays

  • Valleyfair opens at 12:00 PM. Park Re-Entry WILL END 5:00 PM sharp on Saturdays.

Photos and Videos

  • Guests may not take photos, record videos, or use phones inside haunted mazes. You may use your camera or phone while in the midways and scare zones, however we do not allow unsolicited photographing or video recording that disrupts a guest’s experience or interferes with park operations.

Safety Guides

  • Each maze will have signage posted with the Safety Guide that outlines what effects might be utilized that could trigger any adverse reactions from sensitive groups.

Smoking and Vaping

  • We have a designated smoking area inside the park between 21 & Colder and the Arcade, behind the green planters. As a reminder, only tobacco/nicotine based products are allowed to be smoked or vaped inside the designated smoking area. No cannabis products are allowed on the premises and will result in an ejection from the park if caught using.

We can't wait to welcome you to our nightmare with ValleyScare this year. Get tickets today or live to regret it!
