An International Adventure Awaits at Valleyfair's Grand Carnivale

Valleyfair is excited to bring back fan-favorite Grand Carnivale! The sights, sounds, smells, and tastes inspired by cultures around the world take over the midways at Valleyfair starting Saturday, June 24, and running through July 9 (except Wednesdays). This celebration incorporates inspiration from China, Germany, Italy, and Spain into various activities, events, and foods.  

The King and Queen of Grand Carnivale kick off each event day at 5 p.m. (weekends and Fourth of July) and 4 p.m. (weeknights-no events on Wednesdays). Guests are invited to enjoy delicious menus, crafts and games, live music, astounding entertainment, and more from countries around the world including Italy, China, Spain, and Germany. Throughout the park guests can enjoy:

The Spectacle of Color Parade 

Pulsing rhythms and high energy radiate from the Spectacle of Color Parade each night. The parade brings extravagantly decorated floats, talented street performers, and bright sights from around the globe. As the Royal Court, led by the King and Queen make their way around the route, spectators of all ages are encouraged to get on their feet dance, sing, and merry make to the beat!  

Live Entertainment 

With none stop entertainment, Guests will have so much to take in. Kick off the night with our Royal Opening Ceremony, experience the Grand Showcase of performances, dance alongside the Royal Court at Royal Rhythms, conclude the night after the parade at the Royal Send-Off with music and dance. There is so much to experience in this GRAND celebration and live entertainment is ready to give you the performances of a lifetime. 

International Food 

Grand Carnivale is a feast like no other! Take a trip around the world with 12 delicious creations from four countries. With a range of delicious delicacies like panzerotti from Italy, or paella from Spain, Apfelstrudel from Germany or Sesame Balls from China, there is truly something for even the pickiest eaters. Signature Drinks

Quench your thirst with signature cocktails and mocktails such as the Carnivale Cocktail, Peach Bellini, Triple Glitter Jam, Very Berry Punch, and more!

Games, Crafts, and Activities 

Visit our craft booths to create your own dazzling crown, fowering lei, or Carnivale noisemaker. Then, wear them to our Spectacle of Color Parade! You can even journey around the world with our Mardi’s QR Passport to Adventure.

 

Fourth of July Fireworks

On Tuesday, July 4, cap off the evening with a spectacular display of Fourth of July fireworks!

 

 

Kick-up your heels and join us at Grand Carnivale on select dates through June 24 to July 9. The jaw-dropping, world expedition runs from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on weekends and the Fourth of July and 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on weekdays of the event!
