Quick Guide to the Most Common Questions

Guests may purchase their Season Passes through our Easy Pay Plan. This plan allows guests to divide their purchase into 6 equal monthly payments that are automatically withdrawn from the credit card on file. The $5.99 processing fee will apply to the first payment only. You can continue to use your Season Pass even if not all payments are made, however if one payment does not go through the passes will become deactivated.

To take advantage of this special, Season Passes MUST be purchased from a desktop.  The Easy Pay payment plan is not available when purchasing on a mobile or tablet device. For more information and Season Pass pricing click HERE.

You can process your 2014 Season Pass any day the park is open to public. Simply bring your e-ticket to the Season Pass Processing building located to the right of the front gate to obtain your Season Pass ID card. Click HERE to view our Early Season Pass Processing hours.

Please note, if you have renewed your 2013 Season Pass for the 2014 season, you do not need to take a new ID picture.  Please retain your Season Pass card and use it for entry on the first date you choose to visit Valleyfair.  A $15 replacement fee will be charged for those guests who have lost their season pass. 
Unfortunately once an order is processed, another pass can not be added at a later date.  Please ensure you purchase the appropriate number of passes with your transaction.
If you purchased Season Passes using our Easy Pay plan or Deferred Payment plan, you can update your credit card information by going to www.valleyfair.com/payments. Please provide your confirmation number and the e-mail address used to make the purchase.
Regular admission tickets are valid for any guest age 3 to 61 who is 48" and taller.

Junior/Senior admission tickets are valid for any guest age 3 years and over who is under 48" taller, or any guest age 62 years and over.

Guests 2 and under are free and do not need an admission ticket.
Dinosaurs Alive! is a multi-sensory and interactive dinosaur park that features over 30 life-sized animated dinosaurs. Each dinosaur is made to replicate nearly every feature of the mammoth creatures.  Within the attraction is seven main scenes telling a compelling story of what the dinosaurs ate, when and where they lived, how they protected themselves and adapted to their world.

The largest dinosaur within Dinosaurs Alive! is the Ruyanogosaurus, standing at over 39-feet tall, 72-feet long and 11.5-feet wide.

Highlights of Dinosaurs Alive! include interactive consoles which allow guests to guide the dinosaurs’ movements, a children’s paleontological dig site  and a dinosaur-themed gift shop called Dinostore.  

Dinosaurs Alive! is a seperate charge attraction and is not included in park admission.
Valleyfair does not offer a non-rider discount. Valleyfair has a one-price admission as it is ais a multi-faceted park - not just a ride park.  Live entertainment abounds at the park with fun-filled shows and roving characters and performers.  There are also a number of non-active rides, restuarants, shopping and Soak City Waterpark for guests to enjoy.
Yes, Valleyfair offers discounted admission at a price of $29.99 to members of the Military; active, reserve or retired.

Military discount tickets may be purchased at any Valleyfair ticket booth on the day of your visit.   Proof of service must be presented at the time of purchase.

Valleyfair also offers special Military Appreciation Days during Memorial and Fourth of July holidays.  During this time, members of the Military receive free admission to Valleyfair.
Yes, Valleyfair offers a discount on Regular admission every evening, called Starlight admission.  Starlight admission discount is not offered on Junior/Senior admission.

Yes, there is a charge for parking at Valleyfair. For pricing information and to purchase a parking pass online, CLICK HERE.

Valleyfair also offers Preferred Parking which gives you access to prime parking near the admission gate. Only 30 spots are available daily and spots are taken on a first come, first serve basis.

There is NO CHARGE for parking if you dropping someone off or picking them up from the park.  If you are dropping someone off or picking people up, and will be in the parking lot for 30 minutes or less, you will not have to pay for parking. When you enter the parking lot a toll gate employee will take down your license plate number and record it with the make and model of your car and the time you came through the gate. This information will then be given to Valleyfair security, who will be patrolling the parking lot and making sure guests are not staying and parking without payment.

Yes, we have a limited number of lockers available throughout the park that vary in size. Now accepting cash and credit cards at various locations.

Yes. ATM machines are located in eight locations:
  • Outside the park near Guest Services
  • In front of Stadium Pizza & Grill
  • Inside Hi-Test Arcade
  • At the Lunch Basket
  • In the games area next to Hydroblaster
  • In the games area across from Supercat
  • Under the Clock Tower
  • In Soak City Waterpark near the Breakers Bay Bathhouse
We welcome VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS at Ticket Booths, most merchandise shops, Challenge Park and at most food locations.

Credit cards are NOT accepted for games and at some food locations.
Valleyfair does not accept personal checks or foreign currency anywhere in the park.
Yes, Valleyfair offers gluten free meal options at Planet Snoopy Grill.  Various other food locations throughout the park also offer fruit and salad options as well.

The Picnic Cove is no longer available for use.  You may leave the park and parking lot at any point during the day.  There is beautiful city parks and picnic grounds for guests to use that are located about 1/2 mile west of Highway 101 from Valleyfair.  Please remember to retain your receipt so you may re-enter the parking lot without having to pay.  Guests will need to get their hand-stamped to re-enter the park. 

No alcoholic beverages are allowed outside of the park.

Sorry, pets are not allowed except for service dogs. Kennels are not provided. 
Valleyfair works with a number of local hotels and campgrounds throughout the Southwest Metro.  If you are planning an overnight stay in the area, CLICK HERE for information on places to stay.
The First Aid Station offers the convenience of warming bottles and provides privacy for nursing. Medications that need refrigeration can also be stored there. 
We have a limited number of wheelchairs and electronic wheelchairs available to rent for a fee. All wheelchair rentals are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are located at the front of the park to the right of the entrance fountain. Please check back for 2014 wheelchair prices.

Guests are welcome to use their own wheelchairs in the park.
We do have a limited number of single and double strollers to rent. Strollers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis (no reservations can be taken) and are located on the right side of the fountain as you first enter the park. Please check back for 2014 stroller prices.

Guests are welcome to bring their own strollers. 
If you leave the park and plan to return that day, please retain your ticket stub or receipt and get your hand stamped at the re-admission turnstile before exiting.  You must be able to present a ticket stub or receipt AND hand stamp to gain re-entry to the park.  Valleyfair only allows same day re-entry to the park.
Past Valleyfair souvenir mugs will no longer be permitted into the park.
