All aboard the Minnesota River Valley Railroad! Take a ride through Valleyfair on this nostalgic train ride. Our trains are scale replicas of the famous 1800's locomotive known as The General, which was the subject of the Great Locomotive Chase of the American Civil War.
The winding track takes riders through tunnels, over ponds, and under rollercoasters. This train is a great way to get from one side of the park to the other – or circle right back to your original depot! Sit back and relax on these shaded train benches and wave to other guests as you stroll around the park in style.
There are two depots in the park you can board or exit from. Find either train station at Planet Snoopy™ or between Route 76 and Midway Games in order to find yourself on the other side of the park without the long walk. Perfect for kids and parents alike!
Guests must be 46" tall to ride alone OR be accompanied by a supervising companion. Guests less than 46" tall must sit in the center of the bench.

Riders board an antique train ride that offers a round trip through the park with stops at two stations (at the front of the park and in Planet Snoopy™.)

Guests who do not have independent seated postural control, appropriate observed behavior, and handheld infants must ride in the center of the bench with a supervising companion.

Alternate access for both stations is through the ride entrance. This attraction is wheelchair accessible. Services animals are permitted to ride this attraction.
