The summer season is dawning, and so is the opening of Valleyfair! With less than 3 days until the season begins, everyone will be gearing up to go. Here are some tips and tricks to make your day at Valleyfair the best it can possibly be.

Get there early:

Whether you’re a morning person or not, you’ll definitely want to beat the rush of people lining up to get in the park. Get up in the morning and arrive early at Valleyfair to beat the rush of people coming later in the day. With being there early, you’ll have more time to spend on having fun instead of waiting.

Start your day on the rides:

Everyone needs a thrilling rush of adrenaline to start their day. With a wide selection of attractions, from speedy roller coasters to the high rising North Star and Power Tower, you’re sure to find something to get your blood pumping throughout the day.

Spend the afternoon at Soak City:

While summer is fun, it gets a little warm every now and then. Beat the heat by going to Soak City Waterpark right here in Valleyfair! Splash around in the water or grab a bite to eat nearby. Either way, you stay cool in the summer sun.

Grab an entertainment guide so you don’t miss the best shows:

Maybe rides are not your thing, but you still want to have fun at Valleyfair like everyone else. A way to do this is to get an entertainment guide! Don’t miss out on a variety of exciting shows like musical performances by Minnie & The St. Pauls, paint and drums with Funline Drumline, and classic entertainment from the PEANUTS Gang.

Get an all-day dining plan so you don’t have to worry about food:

You’re sure to be famished after racing around on thrill rides all day. Much like the wide selection of rides, Valleyfair has a great variety of food to choose from. All of it can be accessed if you get an all-day dining plan. Dine all day for a low price and add food to your fun!

Bring your own empty water bottle and fill up at any restroom refill station for free to save cash:

Water is an essential piece of everyone’s health. But water bottles cost cash, and you don’t want to spend your well-earned dollars each time you’re thirsty. This can be fixed if you bring your own empty bottle. Refill it at any time you want and save your cash!
